Location : Nariman Point, Mumbai

About the Role

The Recruitment & Talent Acquisition role is a key part of the Human Resources function, responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring the right talent to meet the organization’s current and future needs. Professionals in this role manage the entire recruitment lifecycle — from understanding manpower requirements, preparing job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, to coordinating interviews and finalizing offers.

Key Responsibilities

    Manpower Planning

    • Understand hiring requirements from department heads or management.
    • Create job descriptions and recruitment plans based on organizational goals.

    Sourcing & Screening

    • Source candidates via job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), referrals, and social media.
    • Screen resumes and shortlist qualified candidates.
    • Conduct telephonic or virtual pre-interviews.

    Interview Coordination

    • Schedule interviews with candidates and panels.
    • Prepare interview feedback forms and follow up with hiring managers.

    Selection & Offer Management

    • Manage candidate evaluations and final selection.
    • Prepare offer letters, negotiate salaries, and handle documentation.

    Onboarding Support

    • Coordinate joining formalities and induction programs.
    • Ensure smooth transition for new hires into the organization.

    Employer Branding

    • Represent the company on social media and job fairs.
    • Enhance the company’s image as an employer of choice.

    Recruitment Metrics & Reporting

    • Maintain hiring reports (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source efficiency).
    • Use data to improve recruitment strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR) is an added advantage.
